I am working on my Doctorate Thesis about electric systems modelling and simulation for Smart Grid and Renewable Energy Integration applications. For those not familiar with this technology, I would like to share this explanatory video.
New communication technologies are gaining relevance more and more in our lifes and so they do in scientific area. In that context, either as knowledge sharing tools either as disscusion forums, blogs contribute to investigator daily work in a relevant manner. At the same time, it is important to understand how to distinguish between reliable and unreliable places on thet wide net.
There exist several blogs in my investigation area. Power Systems is one the best known blogs about high power systems, mainly high voltage transformers. They usually share relevant information and analysis on real equipment.
It is possible to find more specific blogs about more particular topics in the area. For example, EETimes is a reference blog when talking about power electronics in particular.
